1. Who we are

JN Communication & Skills Development Centre ("JN CSDC", "we", "us") is a skills training provider, training and assessment centre and RPL facilitator based at 246/1/C/3/3, West Agargaon, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a limited amount automatically when you use this website.

• Identity and contact details: name, date of birth, gender, National ID or birth certificate number, address, district, phone number and email address.
• Education and employment information: highest education level, work history, years of experience and any supporting evidence you provide.
• Application and enrolment records: programme selected, route (training or RPL), intake, assessment results, attendance and certification records.
• Documents you upload: identification, educational certificates, photographs and evidence submitted for RPL.
• Enquiry content: the messages you send us through forms, WhatsApp, email or telephone.
• Technical information: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through analytics tools where those are enabled.

3. Why we use your information

• To process your application, verify your identity and confirm your eligibility for a programme.
• To deliver training, schedule and conduct assessment, and maintain the assessment records that certification requires.
• To submit assessment records into the national certification process and to issue and verify certificates.
• To contact you about your application, your training, your assessment and your results.
• To respond to enquiries and provide the guidance you have asked for.
• To send you newsletters and event information, where you have subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To meet our record-keeping obligations as a training and assessment centre.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

• Certifying and regulatory bodies, where submission of assessment records is required for certification.
• Assessors and trainers engaged by us, strictly for the purpose of delivering your training or assessment.
• Service providers who process data on our behalf (for example email delivery or hosting), under instruction and confidentiality obligations.
• Employers or recruiters, only where you have specifically asked us to share your details with them.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

5. How long we keep it

Assessment and certification records are retained for as long as required to meet our obligations as an assessment centre.

Enquiry records are retained for two years. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Unsuccessful or withdrawn applications are retained for one year.

6. Your rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact jrehanajn@gmail.com. We will respond within thirty days.

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete information, where we are not required to retain it for certification or legal reasons.
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
• Object to how we are using your information, and ask us to explain our basis for doing so.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Access to learner records is restricted to staff who need it to perform their role.

No system is completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will inform you and take steps to limit the impact.

8. Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies necessary for it to function, including for keeping you signed in to the student portal and remembering your theme preference.

Where analytics or advertising tools are enabled, they set additional cookies and transmit usage data to those providers. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies will prevent portal sign-in from working.

9. Children

Our programmes are intended for applicants aged sixteen and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under sixteen. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated to enrolled learners directly.
