Refund Policy

1. Principle

Our aim is to be predictable and fair. Fees that cover work already performed are not refundable; fees for training you have not yet received generally are, on a sliding scale reflecting how much of the programme has run.

If we cancel a programme, you are never out of pocket.

2. Registration fee

• The registration fee covers application processing, document verification and enrolment administration.
• It is fully refundable if you withdraw before your documents have been verified.
• It is non-refundable once verification is complete and your place has been confirmed, because the work it covers has been performed.
• It is fully refundable if we are unable to offer you a place, or if we cancel the intake.

3. Course fee — withdrawal by the learner

Refunds are calculated from the date we receive your written withdrawal notice.

• More than 7 days before the programme starts: 100% of the course fee refunded.
• Within 7 days of the start date, before the first session: 75% refunded.
• After the first session and up to 25% of scheduled sessions delivered: 50% refunded.
• After 25% and up to 50% of scheduled sessions delivered: 25% refunded.
• After more than 50% of scheduled sessions delivered: no refund.

4. Assessment fee

• Fully refundable if you cancel more than 7 days before the scheduled assessment date.
• 50% refundable if you cancel between 7 days and 48 hours before the assessment.
• Non-refundable within 48 hours of the assessment, or if you do not attend without notice.
• Fully refundable if we reschedule the assessment and the new date does not suit you.
• Reassessment following a Not Yet Competent outcome may carry a separate fee, which is disclosed before it is charged.

5. Cancellation by JN CSDC

If we cancel a programme, cohort or assessment for any reason, you may transfer to the next available intake at no additional cost, or receive a full refund of all fees paid in relation to that programme — including the registration fee.

6. Transfers and deferrals

• You may request to transfer to a later intake once, without charge, if you give notice before the programme begins.
• Transfers requested after the programme has started are treated as a withdrawal followed by a new enrolment, and the withdrawal scale above applies.
• Deferral of assessment to a later date is normally accommodated where notice is given at least 7 days in advance.

7. Exceptional circumstances

Where withdrawal is caused by serious illness, bereavement or another significant event outside your control, we will consider a discretionary refund outside the standard scale. Supporting documentation will normally be requested.

Requests of this kind are considered individually and decided by the centre management.

8. Non-refundable in all cases

• Fees where enrolment has been cancelled for malpractice, falsified information or serious misconduct.
• Fees for assessments already conducted, regardless of outcome.
• Third-party charges we have already incurred on your behalf and cannot recover.
• Bank or payment processing charges deducted at the time of the original payment.

9. How to request a refund

• Send a written request to jrehanajn@gmail.com, or deliver it to our office at 246/1/C/3/3, West Agargaon, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh.
• Include your full name, application or student reference, programme, the reason for withdrawal and your bank details.
• We acknowledge requests within 3 working days and decide within 10 working days.
• Approved refunds are paid within 15 working days of the decision, to the account from which payment was originally made wherever possible.

10. Disagreeing with a decision

If you believe a refund decision is wrong, you may appeal in writing within 15 working days to jrehanajn@gmail.com, marked for the attention of the Centre Manager. The appeal will be reviewed by someone not involved in the original decision, and you will receive a written outcome.
